We have given the walls of the Woolverstone Centre clinic area at Ipswich Hospital a big lift by adding large-scale murals depicting stunning local landmarks.
The once plain white walls now display images of Southwold Pier, Woodbridge Tide Mill and Ipswich Marina. The phlebotomy (blood-taking) room also has new feature walls of the picturesque beach and beach huts at Felixstowe providing a welcome distraction for patients.
Clinic Nurses Mark Foulkes, Gayle Fairchild, Sandra Phillips and Jo Forsdike each chose a location and they are delighted with the results.
Jo Forsdike said:
“We wanted to create a more relaxing and calming environment for our patients. We’ve had lots of really positive comments from patients and staff too, the murals have made such a difference.”
