New stroke equipment transforms patient experience

Colchester Hospital's Stroke Team have welcomed new equipment to transform the experience of their patients.

The Tilt-in-Space Shower Chair is a great addition to the rehab resources. It enables patients with reduced balance and mobility post stroke, to be able to shower safely and it's easy and effective for staff to use.

This was made possible by the generous sponsorship the team received when they completed the Hospital Hero Hike.

Stroke Team Hero Hiker Lisa Marshall said, "We wanted to purchase something with the money raised that would benefit the whole team as well as our patients."
