These limited edition flowers have been designed and handmade in Suffolk exclusively for The Blossom Appeal.
Only 1,000 stunning blooms are available and each one is uniquely numbered.
Blossom is the symbol for our soon to be built Breast Care Centre. It also represents renewal, confidence and success, attributes that we hope will flourish in our patients when they visit our new centre.
Blooms for Blossom is the perfect opportunity to come together and support those that have been affected by breast cancer and other breast conditions.

With each bloom you can request a personal message card which we will give you with your certificate of authenticity.
E.g. “This bloom is dedicated to nurse Kim Collingridge who helped my Mum during her cancer treatment.”
All blooms are currently displayed in glorious formation at the Heath Road entrance to Ipswich Hospital.
They will be there throughout October – to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month – and until the end of November.

During November, we will send you an invitation to collect your bloom/s on Sunday 28 November from Ipswich Hospital. Your bloom will be yours to keep or give as a gift.
Alternatively, you can request for your bloom to be sent to any UK address via courier in time for Christmas. Just add postage and packing and personal message when you reserve a bloom.
Q. How much is a bloom?
A. A minimum donation of £30.00 per bloom.
Q. Can I reserve more than one bloom?
A. Yes, absolutely. You can reserve as many blooms as you’d like.
Q. How will I get my bloom?
A. You will be able to collect your bloom free of charge on Sunday 28 November from Ipswich Hospital. Further details about the COVID safe, outdoor collection day will be sent to you nearer the time.
Q. What if I can’t collect my bloom?
A. If you are unable to collect your bloom we can send it to you via courier at the end of November when the installation will be taken down. Postage and packing is £5.99 per bloom to UK addresses only. Please ensure you add the appropriate postage and packing when you reserve your bloom.
Q. Can I dedicate my bloom?
A. Yes, the name of the person you dedicate your bloom to will be included on the message card. Just add details during the checkout process.
Q. Can I send my bloom as a gift?
A. Yes, you can have your bloom delivered to a different address. You will be able to include a personal message to the recipient when you reserve a bloom. Don’t forget to add the appropriate postage and packing!
Q. Can my bloom to be displayed in the new Breast Care Centre garden instead of me taking it home or gifting it?
A. Yes, just let us know when you reserve your bloom that you would like it displayed in the Breast Care Centre garden once it has been built.
Q. How big are the blooms?
A. Each bloom is 600mm tall and 150mm wide.
Q. What are the blooms made of?
A. The blooms are made from 3mm hand pressed iron on a 4mm iron spike. The plain metal blooms are heat treated to create a burnished effect and then lacquered to prevent rust. The pink blooms are powder coated in Blossom Appeal pink. Both will withstand extremes of weather.
Q. How do I know my bloom is unique?
A. Each bloom is handmade (therefore slightly different in shape and size) and is stamped with a number unique number between 1 and 1,000. You will also receive a certificate confirming the unique number of your bloom.
Q. Can I choose which number bloom I receive?
A. Unfortunately we are unable to reserve you a specific bloom number. Don’t worry though as every bloom is just as beautiful and unique as the next.
Please read the terms and conditions carefully, they apply to everyone who reserves a bloom.
As our blooms are handmade, the size, weight, dimensions and measurements may differ from bloom to bloom and the blooms may vary very slightly from images shown on our website and promotional materials.
Whilst each bloom is made of sturdy and robust iron, and is designed for outdoor use, we cannot guarantee that the finish will not be affected by the weather over time.
We recommend collecting your bloom/s in person. If you have chosen to have your bloom/s delivered, Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity takes no responsibility for any damage that may occur, although our best efforts will be made to ensure your bloom/s arrive safely. Due to limited numbers of blooms available, we may not be unable to offer a replacement in the event of damage.
We may revise these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect any changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements.
