As work starts on the next phase and redeveloping the ward areas transforming the experience for young patients and their families, the charity continues to raise the final money needed for the project - to provide brand new indoor and outdoor sensory and play spaces and equipment.
“The aim of The Children’s Appeal is to create a modern, calming environment to match the high standards of care our patients already receive. The new-look department will significantly improve the facilities available, and help our staff continue to meet increasing demand for our services while maintaining their focus on delivering a gold standard of care for every single patient.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising appeal so generously since it's launch in 2018 but encourage anyone who is thinking about fundraising to consider supporting The Children’s Appeal and help our dream come true.
