Tee-riffic Golf Captain Andrew drives fundraiser for Blossom

Andrew a Golf enthusiast and Captain at Seckford Golf Club set out to raise funds in support of the Blossom Appeal at Ipswich Hospital.

In 2022, Andrew used his Captaincy year to organise a family Golf Day with food and a raffle, followed by a Think Pink event.

Andrew said, "The personal highlight of the day for me was being able to play alongside my 88-year-old father and my two wonderful sons Michael and Robert, both of whom started their golfing adventure here at Seckford. A truly magical and never to be forgotten day for me".

Andrew with wife Wendy and Simon Jay (pictured right) handed over a wonderful donation of £2,646.00.

Blossom Appeal

The Breast Care Centre at Ipswich Hospital fully opened to patients after the final two services moved into the brand new state-of-the-art unit in late January 2023. However, we are still three-hundred thousand pounds away from the fundraising target and we need our community’s support to reach it. Everyone can make a difference and every penny counts, so please continue to support us if you can. The centre will be officially opened later in the spring.
